My (30F) boyfriend (31M) of 2 years has been asking me a lot lately if his hair is thinning or if his hairline is receding. Honestly, his hair is thinning a tiny bit at the crown, but I wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't brought it up. He has a great head of hair, and his dad kept most of his hair too. The first time he asked, I genuinely didn't notice anything. But when I found a hair product online and sent it to him, he freaked out, thinking I believed he was losing his hair. I tried to reassure him, comparing it to how I get a little Botox for my frown lines, which no one else likely notices. He's asked me about his hair 4-5 times in the past month, and now that he's fixated on it, I've noticed the minor thinning too. Should I just be honest next time? I'm worried about making him more insecure over something so minor. How should I handle this situation?
